What to prepare before buying

- Collect the VIN, purchase invoice or contract and original foreign registration documents before collection.
- Confirm whether the car will travel on export plates or by carrier; temporary plates and insurance are not automatically valid for every transit country.
- Plan the Spanish technical inspection, tax evidence and DGT registration file before the car is delivered.
